SDM Lawyers Present at COST Regional State Tax Seminar
Curtis Osterloh, Eric Hagenswold, and Steve Britt will present at the Council On State Taxation (COST) Southwest/West Regional State Tax Seminar in Houston, Texas on November 3, 2017. The Seminar provides an update on significant state tax issues for the Southwest/West States including Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming. Curtis Osterloh will be joining a panel with the Assistant Deputy Comptroller Karey Barton about how best to resolve your Texas Tax Dispute. Eric Hagenswold will be presenting a special report on Recent Developments in Texas Taxes with an overview of assessment issues and refund opportunities. Steve Britt will be presenting a discussion about National State Tax Cases and their implications. Finally, Curtis Osterloh and Eric Hagenswold will jointly provide an overview of how to handle your tax controversies in a winning manner. Other topics being covered at the seminar include current issues in southwestern states, indirect tax technology trends and a state tax policy update including the state tax implication of federal tax reform.
