Tom serves as SD&M’s Regulatory Coordinator, dealing with all state agencies, with emphasis on regulatory matters before the Railroad Commission of Texas and Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. He is actively involved in assisting oil and gas and tax attorneys and clients in expediting applications, gathering research, both in regulatory matters and civil litigation, and monitoring ongoing regulatory issues. Prior to joining SD&M, Tom was Executive Assistant to former Austin Mayor Carole Keeton Strayhorn (past Chairman of the Railroad Commission of Texas and former Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts). Tom enjoys a close working relationship with many other Elected Officials and their staffs.
